Sunday spent at home - I finished reading Diamond Dust by Anita Desai. (Unkindled)
Collection of short stories set across the world. Somewhat page turners, fast read. Quite interesting people fuill up the pages. Still, would rate average on a comparative scale (compared to what I've read recently - Matisse stories and In Other rooms, other wonders being case in point.)
BTW, first Anita Desai book I've read. I remember Games at Twilight - a story in one of our classes (school) - and I remember getting that knot in the heart when the protaganist is not missed (if you know the story). You feel similar knots sometimes in your heart while reading this book - but very few, maybe a couple of instances bring you down to it.
